Campus Reader is a collection of over 300 college newspapers from across the United States.
Dreamt up by our own Carl Paulus, the concept began as a simple way to make student-produced news more accessible to non-student readers. This core idea grew into an elaborate system of article classification and comparison against a huge network of similar articles. Articles are rated and discussed in open forum.
Following Campus Reader's success, CampusBug.com caught the bug (so to speak) is building an entire News section powered by Campus Reader's network of student newspapers.
The Kegulator, also a Carl Paulus creation, was built to answer the age-old question: "How much beer do we need?"
If you've ever thrown a kegger, you know the hair-pulling involved in deciding how much beer to buy. Too much and you've wasted money (worse yet, you've wasted beer). Too little and you'll have an angry mob on your hands. The Kegulator simplifies the process with a set of inputs designed to calculate that perfect amount of beer.
Since its launch in March, over 70,000 "kegulations" have been made. Complaints... zero.
